Big date

He would be at the door soon, and she still had to put on her face, let alone pick out a dress.

What would it be?

She went with a dark, sultry look with smouldering eyes and pouting lips, as it would go nicely with that little black dress she had.

The doorbell rang as she made the finishing touches, making her jump slightly. She buffed up her brunette curls and rushed to the intercom in the hallway to buzz him into the apartment block.  This done, she turned and smiled at herself in the mirror, smoothing down her dress.

Her eyes widened and lips quivered as, slowly at first, one side of her perfectly applied face began to slide off her tiny graphene skull.

Dammit, now she would have to start again!

  1. Would she have to kill him if he found out she didn’t have a face?

How interesting. You’d think she would’ve used something to make her “face” stick to her skull… static electricity perhaps since graphene is a good conductor. I loved how you stuck some science in what could be a horror story (depending on just what she did with her skull and how it became to be in such a state… and what she did with/to her date).

  3. LOL!! Great twist there at the end. Was not expecting that!! Great entry!!
