Mannequin

Look at them.

That guy in the striped polo shirt striding forward, looking over at the guy with the backpack who saunters without a care, not noticing he’s prey being stalked, or that the guy in the polo shirt is going to clobber him soon as the copper’s out of sight.

What about the lab technician in the white overcoat?  Oh he notices alright, but he’s not getting involved, he’s just watching out of the corner of his eye; got better things to do than get caught up in whatever’s going to happen soon.

Me?  Nobody’s going to notice me.  I’m just going to stay still behind the glass of the department store window, so that the lab technician doesn’t see I’m here.
