“They’ve already started without us, are we too late?”

“Too late for what?”

“Too late for the denouement.”

“No, that’s later silly.  We have plenty of time.”

“How’d the others infiltrate so quickly…look at them climbing that ladder; some of them are up there already.  How long have they been there?”

“They arrived before us, clearly.  Doesn’t matter anyway, we have time before the winged ones come to consume us and carry us to our new destination.”

*Sigh* “…then we lay our eggs in their intestines to be excreted and consumed; then rebirth…”

“Need to find a warm body first.”
