Paths of Wu Wei

Monk under the tree

Monk under the tree (Photo credit: leniners)

Monk sits under tree
One with all, meditating
A breeze stirs his thoughts

Assassin in tree
One with all, focussed on monk
Blade moves as the breeze

What should happen next?  Their fate is in your hands!

Inspired by Rarasaur’s Prompt for the Promptless this week – Wu Wei

The votes are in!

Branch breaks underfoot
The Assassin flails in vain
Head broken on stone

I voted for the assassin. Sorry, assassin, but a choice needed to be made. 😉

I voted monk. Does that make me a bad person? Well, on top of all the other things that already make me a bad person, that is.

I voted assassin, and was surprised to see that 70% of the votes had gone that way so far. Is that indicative of a society that likes twists in their stories now? Or, is that because we assume the monk is a good guy and the assassin is a bad guy just from those labels?
