Quote – You can lose yourself

“You can lose yourself. Everything. All boundaries. All time. Two bodies can become so mixed up, that you don’t know who’s who or what’s what.  And just when the sweet confusion is so intense you think you’re gonna die… you kind of do, leaving you alone in your separate body, but the one you love is still there. That’s a miracle. You can go to heaven and come back alive. You can go back any time you want with the one you love.”

Andrew Martin in ‘Bicentennial Man’, making me feel wistful with his impression of what making love is like.

This is probably the best description of the carnal act I have ever read. Although, it does beg the question…if this doesn’t describe the kind of sex you actually have had…
(Here I’d write a satirical counterpart about the totally non-ethereal qualities about sex…but who needs to disillusion all those virgin bloggers out there who haven’t learned it already? All six of them.)
